Stimulus payments being directly deposited into your account will initially show on your Home Banking account (or via the Mobiliti app) as a pending “Balance.” Once your stimulus payment has cleared your account, it will reflect as part of your “Available Balance.”
Tip: Set up an account e-Lert to know when deposits are made into your account.
THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BALANCE AND AVAILABLE BALANCE:
Balance – The amount of money that is in your account at any given time. It reflects transactions that have posted to (cleared) your account, but NOT items that are outstanding.
Available Balance – The amount of money in your account that is AVAILABLE for you to use. The available balance includes holds placed on deposits and pending transactions (such as pending Debit Card purchases), that Security First Credit Union has authorized but have not posted to your account.
